WSIB Now Extends To Cover Construction Business Owners. Did You Know It’s Mandatory?

Starting January 1, 2013, almost everyone in the construction industry will require mandatory WSIB coverage. Not just workers, but business owners too.

In addition to employees, the coverage will be extended to include:

• Independent operators (new)
• Sole proprietors (new)
• Partners in partnerships (new)
• Executive officers of corporations (new)
